• New Dawn Self-help Group

New Dawn Self-Help Groups aims to help reformed drug addicts by providing job opportunities for them. An idle reformed drug addict can easily fall back to old habits. Our society has arguably a negative perception towards drug addicts thus very few people in this society has endeavored to assist them. Hence, this project aims to mobilize them, train them to make charcoal briquettes, engage them in actual mass production and eventually sell the product. This solution provides employment opportunities to the reformed individuals, in part might encourage others to go to rehabilitation and it will also protect the environment as no trees will be cut down to produce the briquettes.
