• Preemie Heroes

Prematurity childbirth can happen to any expectant mom. No exact cause has been established. Statistics show that it is the leading cause of deaths of children below the age of 5. One of our goals is to defy this and ensure our preemies thrive beyond five years.

Preemie Heroes is a Christian organization whose Mission is to improve the survival rates of preemies and lower the numbers of preemies born in Africa by raising awareness amongst all the stakeholders through advocacy, resource mobilization and capacity building.

Our Vision is to build a First Class Affordable Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Hospital.

The Anchor Scripture for the Preemies Project is Isaiah 65:20,
Never again will there be an infant in it who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years.

A preemie/preterm/premature baby is a baby born alive before 37 weeks gestational age.

Thankyou for the good job you are doing…indeed preterm awareness should be encouraged.when baby is preterm people forget the baby has come a gift from God..and its viewed as “I have a sick patient in hospital.friends and relatives alike and the world should welcome premmies with diapers, flowers and new born cards.its a girl! Its a boy!😊
